Our Mission and Vision
The main mission of the Faculty of Fisheries of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University is to provide "education" for the training of technical workforce to ensure the sustainable use of regional and national aquaculture resources, to conduct interdisciplinary "research" at regional, national and international level, and to provide "service" to the society and related segments at regional and national level. Undergraduate and graduate education and research is the main duty of the Faculty of Fisheries. In this way, while providing the trained workforce required by the public and private sectors, graduate education also contributes to the strengthening of the academic staff and research activities. Another mission of the Faculty is to transfer research results and innovations into practice, in other words, to provide the services or services needed by the society and stakeholders.
