The project prepared under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Bülent VEREP, Faculty Member at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (RTEÜ) Faculty of Fisheries, was deemed worthy of support by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). The TÜBİTAK 1505 University-Industry Cooperation Support Program project, titled “Suitability Analysis and Optimization of Ozone and UV-Based Disinfection Systems for Fish Hatcheries in Laboratory and Real Environments,” has been included in the “Support Scope” as of October 17, 2025. The project will be completed with a final report to be submitted in the 18th month, following 17 months of comprehensive work. This study aims to increase efficiency in the aquaculture sector by modernizing the disinfection systems used in fish hatcheries with ozone and UV technologies.
