A technical trip was organized to the LAZSOM Seafood Processing Plant (Kuzuoğlu Group), located in the Fındıklı district of Rize province, for our third-year students of the Faculty of Fisheries. This trip was held within the scope of the SUR331 Seafood Processing Technology course, under the guidance of the course instructor, Assoc. Prof. Barış KARSLI. This visit was carried out to allow our students to:
Become acquainted with the modern production techniques used in the seafood processing industry.
Inspect the machinery and equipment infrastructure on-site.
Observe quality and hygiene applications.
Reinforce their theoretical course knowledge with hands-on field experience.
During the technical trip, our students gained significant insights into:

Quality control processes.
Industrial work discipline.
This experience enhanced our students' professional awareness and provided valuable contributions to their perspective on the sector.
