Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul AĞIRBAŞ, a faculty member of our faculty who participated in the 8th Antarctic National Science Expedition (TAE-8) between 27 January-3 March 2024, shared his experiences with a presentation titled "Science and Peace Continent: Antarctica and TAE-VIII Expedition" at Prof. Dr. Osman BEYAZOĞLU Conference Hall. Prof. Dr. Osman BEYAZOĞLU informed the audience about his experiences during the expedition, the Antarctic Treaty System, the application process for researchers who want to apply within the scope of the Polar-1001 Project calls, and the studies carried out in the Turkish Science Camp and Horseshoe Island within the scope of his own project. After the presentation, we congratulate our professor who answered the questions of the participants and wish him success in his work.
