Within the scope of the social responsibility project titled “Marine Cleaning and Raising Environmental Awareness,” supervised by our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Bayçelebi, coordinated by Anas Batal, one of our faculty students, and with Vadde Sid’Ahmed Ahimeda as a researcher, and involving our faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazel Baytaşoğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samet Kalkan, and Dr. Lecturer Zeynep Zehra İpek, various activities were carried out with students of Şehit Ali İslamoğlu Kindergarten, affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. The project aimed to instill environmental and marine cleanliness awareness in preschool children at an early age, explain the negative effects of marine pollution on nature and living organisms, and develop a sense of social responsibility for protecting the environment
