The social responsibility project titled “Sustainable Marine Life School: Summer is Best Enjoyed at Sea,” led by our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Hatice ONAY, with contributions from our faculty members Assoc. Prof. Yusuf CEYLAN and Assoc. Prof. Kübra AK as researchers, has been completed. Thirty students from various schools affiliated with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education participated in the project. The project aims to demonstrate how the sustainable use of marine ecosystems can be protected, to identify the problems within marine ecosystems and encourage becoming part of the solution, to show that various aquatic species are endangered and that reversing this is possible, and to raise awareness among individuals who will have a voice in society in the future.
