Within the scope of the ERASMUS International Credit Mobility Program, the 2nd Erasmus International Staff Week hosted important meetings at our university’s Faculty of Fisheries. Our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Şevki KAYIŞ, welcomed Naceur ESSID, Director of Institut Préparatoire aux Etudes d’Ingénieur de Bizerte from Tunisia, and Prof. Dr. Jahangir SARKER, a faculty member at Noakhali Science & Technology University from Bangladesh, in his office. During the meeting, detailed exchanges of information were made regarding the deepening of existing relations between the institutions and advanced collaborative efforts planned for the future. The visitors, accompanied by our Faculty Members Prof. Dr. İlker Zeki KURTOĞLU and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samet KALKAN, conducted examinations in the Faculty laboratories, the Fish Collection, and the İyidere Fisheries Application and Research Center, where they also received information about the center. The Faculty administration extended its gratitude to Director ESSID and Prof. Dr. SARKER for their kind visit, as well as to the officials of our University ERASMUS Office for successfully coordinating this international visit.
